In day to day life we use only 10% of our mind, this is the conscious mind. The subconscious is 40% and the superconscious is 50% of our mind. Suppressions are stored in the subconscious and Breath Work allows you access this part of the brain to do the emotional clearing.

The subconscious is like a warehouse that holds suppressions and skills. The conscious mind helps us to learn new skills, but once it’s learned we store it in the subconscious and don’t think about it anymore. Depending on the emotions you are feeling the breath will differ in speed and depth. No, you won’t hyperventilate during a Breath4Life™ Breath Work session. The breath we use is a continuous breath where you inhale though the mouth, not the nose, therefore you won’t be able to over oxygenate the brain. You will use your breath to heal your emotional overwhelm and suppressions thought feeling them and without hyperventilating.

Is Breath Work the same as meditation?

Breath Work and meditation are similar but they are not the same. The aim of meditation is to quiet the mind and cultivate peace or focus on a mantra until absorbed it. Whereas during a Breath Work session you get transported out of mind and space and your aim is to focus on your emotions and feel them.
