What is Reiki?

Reiki comes from Japan and it is made up of two words: "rei" which means universal and "Ki" which is vital life force, therefore Reiki is “universal life force energy”. Our natural state of being is ever new joy, ever new bliss and ever new peace. How long does Reiki take to work?

It gives you mental and emotional clarity, to take better decisions and develop perspective.

Reiki is effective because it aids in your natural healing on a mental, emotional and spiritual level.

Can Reiki be used for negative intentions?

Reiki cannot do any harm. Reiki can only be used for good. If Reiki is sent intentionally or unintentionally with a negative thought or intention, reiki would do good or nothing at all. So the results would vary from no change at all to lifting the vibration of the intention.

How long often do I need to have a Reiki treatment?

Reiki is a gentle holistic medicine tool, useful in anyone’s personal evolution. Depending on the desired outcome you can receive Reiki weekly, once a month or even less. Because Reiki is a soft holistic medicine therapy, it goes as deep as you allow it to go. If needed Reiki goes hand in hand with Breath Work.  Breath Work is a therapy that goes much deeper and Reiki is a softer complementing nourishing energy.


​What happens during a Reiki session?

During the session the Reiki Master will channel high vibrational energy into different parts of your body. Reiki can involve touching of different body parts (excluding private areas) or it can be a non-touch therapy, it is just as effective. There will be soft music playing. You will start to feel relaxed, calm and even fall asleep. Whether awake or asleep, you will still get all the benefits of Reiki.

What should I expect after the Reiki session?

The calm and relaxed feeling will stay with you for a few days and you might sleep better, are able to keep calm in different situations and see things more clearly. Although Reiki is a gentle energy, it is also very powerful so notice the changed in your life after the treatment. It is advisable to drink plenty of water, have some good food and avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
